Meets the first three Thursdays of each Block @ 12:00 PM in the Student Senate Office
Students involved in the Academic Affairs Committee attend various faculty meetings and organize programs that facilitate communication and progress between the students and faculty and staff. Currently, students from the Student Senate Academic Affairs Committtee are a part of the following faculty committees:
Ad-Hoc Committee on Curriculum Enhancement
This committee is charged with designing new general education models for the faculty to consider. Potentially, the committee could redraw how Cornell College defines general education requirements, majors and minors, graduation requirements, etc.

Faculty Academic Affairs Committee
This committee is charged with approving proposed classes, major or minor requirements, and so forth. The committee also discusses miscellaneous academic affairs related items, such as adjunct courses, credit transfers, etc.
The Faculty
Students on the Academic Affairs Committee may sometimes voice the opinions of their constituency, the student body, at general Faculty meetings.
