New Design 9 July 2008
A new math club website design is being tested for the 2008-09 year. Current webmaster with the help of the officer team, photoshop, fireworks, and imusic created a new design which featured the new math club logo--the Law Hall Moose .
T-Shirts 10 July 2008
Math Club t-shirts for the coming year are being designed. (with moose logo of course!) Emily Sutter (2010) has an idea for the back of the shirts, mainly composed of math club inside jokes.

You might be in math club if . . .

  • you know Cornell T. Moose has all the answers
  • proof by cookie is a valid technique
  • Doug is your fourth dimensional friend
  • you speak Venusian
  • someone says "Set" and you compulsively lunge forward
  • you have pied professors in the face without consequences
  • you refuse to give up the search for Area 33H
  • Pi Day is your favorite holiday
  • you answer every question with yv-(supposed to be y-not)

Menger Sponge 9 July2008
In 2006, over sixty students and staff worked together to build the menger sponge that is on display in the library. Composed of paper folded into units (pictured right) and later put together to create a sponge
Math Fest ! 10 July 2008
The 2008 MAA Math Fest is to be hosted in Madison, WI from July 31 to Augest 2. Professor Freeman (Math Department) will be there.
Myka Peterson (2009), Emily Sutter (2010) and Greg Sowers (2010) will be representing Cornell College while listening to speakers and participating in activities.
