One of the many ways BACO fulfills its mission of raising awareness on campus is through sponsoring different events such as speakers, showing films, taking surveys and holding panels.

The month of February is one of the most active months for the group. Listed below are the different activities that the group is sponsoring on campus throughout the year. There is more to come!!!

Projected Events for '07-'08

Opinion articles submitted by different members of the group to the Cornellian (school newspaper).

Survey of campus on different issues dealing with race, ethnicity and sexuality, the results of which will be posted on the website as well as on the OC.

Black History 365 is a year-long program that we're doing to educate the campus and community about black history. You can see it on the walls of the OC one week during each block.

Thanksgiving meal with OLA (Organization for Latino Awareness)

The MLK candlelight vigil is Jan. 17th . There will be a speaker after the vigil and cookies and hot chocolate will be provided in the MLK room.
